The 47mm case is made of titanium and molded using DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering), a method of 3D printing technology that creates both strong and lightweight elements. The case construction, with its signature Panerai cushion shape and crown guard, offers both performance and a striking matte finish with assertive presence.
Both the unidirectional rotating bezel and pusher highlight the standout aspect of the Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Blue Shadow Edition. They are made of Carbotech, a carbon fiber-based material with a colorful pattern that gives each watch a unique character and is characterized by durability, lightness and high corrosion resistance. Blue Super-LumiNova™ on the indices and hands provides easy-to-read and eye-catching accents.
The Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Blue Shadow Edition features the new P.4001/S caliber, a skeletonized movement based on the P.4000 caliber, with a one-piece, off-center oscillating weight that enables bidirectional winding, with the two barrels winding while the watch is worn.
The flywheel rotor, made of tungsten, a lustrous high-density metal, allows the movement, and thus the watch itself, to be much thinner and lighter. The balance with stop function and the seconds reset allow the time to be synchronized with a reference time signal.
Water-resistant to 30 bar, the Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Blue Shadow Edition features two straps: a two-material strap in black rubber and leather and a second in deep blue rubber.
