The next chapter in the BRABUS X Panerai collaboration starts. Bound by a deep-rooted heritage and a shared passion for maritime high performance, we collaborated with Panerai to design a third exclusive timepiece - the Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Experience Edition.
Unique Experience
Available in only 22 pieces, the Submersible S Brabus Experience Edition features a 47mm case made from Carbotech™, a lightweight composite material based on carbon fiber with a dark, marbled color and high corrosion resistance. Throughout, touches of red, the signature color of the Brabus brand, appear.
Developed from the P.4000 caliber, the new Caliber P. 4001/S, an automatic, skeletonized movement with a three-day power reserve whose indicator appears at the movement’s rear, powers the Submersible Brabus Experience Edition. A patented polarized date display allows the date indication to appear only through the opening at 3 o’clock, without covering the mechanics of the skeletonized movement.
The GMT hand indicates a second time zone, while the unidirectional rotating bezel permits the calculation of immersion time. A one-piece, off-center oscillating weight permits bi-directional winding, whereby the two spring barrels efficiently wind as the watch is worn. Tungsten, a light, shiny, high density metal, composes the oscillating rotor, resulting in reduced weight of the movement and therefore the watch itself. The stop balance wheel and seconds reset devices enables the time to synchronize with a reference time signal.
Subtle details recognizable to Brabus experts make an appearance, too: the red parallel lines that intersect with the date window represent a pattern found in the grille of select Brabus cars, while the dots on the black and red perforated bi-material calf strap form a pattern available in custom Brabus upholstery, followed by a second strap in Sportech is also included. And as a final flourish, the Brabus logo is visible on the plate of the movement.
